About Us
Biography

My name is Kendra Smith-Beaufort I am from Windsor, Connecticut and I moved to Georgia in 2009 as a transfer student to attend Georgia Southern University.Go Eagles! I received my bachelors in Sociology and a minor in Health Education and Promotion in December 2013. I also received my master’s degree in Human Services Counseling with a cognate in Life Coaching at Liberty University and earned my membership of the American Association of Christian Counselors. With my degrees I would like to be a motivational speaker, teacher, life coach and business owner. Along with Beloved I have my own business called Kendra O Apparel, LLC that I would like to use to help those in need. I am married to Larry A. Beaufort Jr. who is the founder of the Christian Experience and Grace Media & Entertainment Group and we have two daughters named Keziah and MiKenzie Beaufort.
I began this ministry on April 3, 2012.Beloved was placed on my heart to help encourage, support, and build women through the love of Christ. We believe in using the word of God and love in order to transform lives. We also want people to be aware of the lies that satan has told them so they can no longer give him authority or power to influence them. Many people are using negative avenues to heal their hurts and mask their pain. Beloved reminds young women and youth that there is a God who loves them and he can be their positive source for change, healing, and direction in their purpose. Overall I want to be a voice for God to show who he really is as society has tainted him. I desire to help at risk youth and women through what I have learned in my major. I am excited for this ministry and for all those that will be touched through it.
Often times we feel like people fail us or are a hindrance in our lives, but God's love never fails and all he can do is elevate us and push us forward. To many people believing in Christ seems either pointless or hard. Through my testimony I use it to show people how God is real and what he can do. I have dealt with low self-esteem, addictions involving sexual impurities, and dealt with verbal, physical, and sexual abuse. I often felt useless, stupid, ugly, and not worthy of anything. I have even considered and planned many ways to end my life, but God never allowed for me to go through with it and I thank him for that. Jesus has healed me from all these things and he used it for me to help others.
Beloved means "dear to the heart" and "greatly loved". I want for youth and women to feel how special they are in the eyes of God. Love is the main goal because through that all things are possible. In this ministry you will learn more about yourself, purpose, and the love that God has for you. While gaining this you will be able to go out and spread that love that God has extended to you. Beloved is all about voices; we want to hear your stories of what you are going through, have gone through, and how you overcame those situations. One aspect of my life that bothered me the most growing up was that I felt no one listened to me and in Beloved I want to listen. Yes, I teach the word, but discussions are the main aspect of Beloved meetings along with an activity to put the lesson to action and create participation.
